2. How do laser cladding and PTA hardfacing compare in terms of dilution?
Laser cladding uses a highly focused beam that generates minimal heat input, keeping dilution rates very low (typically between 1% and 5%). This allows the cladding layer to retain its pure properties with a thin deposition. PTA welding yields slightly higher dilution rates (typically 5% to 15%) because of its wider arc heat profile, but it offers higher deposition rates, making it suitable for thicker protective layers on large parts.
3. What types of alloy powders are supported by your powder feed systems?
